So there it was.

Clearly visible even at 75 mph.

And the inevitable question came from the backseat.

Zachary: "Can we go there sometime?"

Me: "Well, I don't know. We'll see. Probably. We'll just have to think about it.... You know, it doesn't even open until summertime."

(Long pause)

Zachary: "You're just saying that because you don't want to go."

You've got that right.

There is nothing in me, and I mean nothing, that wants to traipse around a hot waterpark all day long in a swimsuit. And even less do I want to swim in a sea of bodily fluid commonly referred to as "pool water".

No thanks.

Perhaps daddy would like to take them.

Me? I'd rather spend my summer with these 2 characters in the backyard kiddy pool.
At least they don't care how much cottage cheese I wear on my thighs.

  3. I would be thinking the same thing. I'm not ready for summer fun in a bathing suit. Much rather spend it at home.

  4. Love it! You're the same as me. Every year we do the waterpark thing once during the summer but it's really not my favourite activity!
