I decided to make a fabric banner (bunting) this week for the shop instead of a paper one. You can find it in my shop~

Josh is teaching the boys how to wash the dishes (we don't have a dishwasher in the new house)~

Not sure how clean the dishes are actually getting! Zachary washed this water bottle then handed it to Lucas to rinse. Instead he filled it up with sink water and took a drink! YUCK! Of course, I just snapped a picture instead of intervening! :)

So Far So Good~

Monday was the first day of 2nd grade!

He told me everything he has learned so far has been easy.

"It's first grade stuff, Mom."

Sewing Nook~

In our new home, we have a large utility room where I have set up my sewing "nook"

This is a dream come true.

In the past, I have kept all my sewing supplies stored and hauled everything out to the kitchen table each time I sew.

Most of these aprons are vintage and belonged to Josh's grandmother.

Of course the space is shared with Josh's tools.

And Howdy Doody.

By the way, I plan on making more paper banners to list in my Etsy shop this coming week, if you are interested in purchasing! :)

Home Sweet Austin

For those of you worried sick about me, I'm still alive.

:)

So thankful to be in our new rent house in Austin.

This house is such a blessing from God.

And we give it right back to Him to be used to bring restoration to His people.

This neighborhood is very pretty.

The elementary school zoned for this area was our top pick.

But it was next to impossible to find a home in this area that we could afford.

So when a friend told us that he had a client that had an affordable rental we were thrilled that that rental was in THIS neighborhood.

It was built in the 50's and has such vintage charm.

I absolutely love this house.

The kids are having the best time playing in the HUGE yard!

And I am hanging clothes on the line to dry ..... I love it so much!
