For all of you cookie dough addicts....

Yes, those are cupcakes iced with cookie dough!

If you prefer the raw cookie dough to the baked cookies, then this recipe may be for you.

You can find the recipe here (one of my fav. food blogs!)

I made cupcakes instead of brownies, and WOW, were they delicious!

Refrigerate the iced cupcakes/brownies to let the dough stiffen a little.

Sharing my good news....

I am honored to announce that I was chosen as the July 19 guest designer for Digital Delights! I am already brainstorming on what exactly I want to make with the adorable images that Wendy sent my way this morning! Thanks to Wendy and the Design Team for this privilege!

I finished a new card tonight that is in honor of my sister, Jennifer.
I am entering it in a card contest at a local paper/scrapbook store called That Absolutely Fabulous Paper Emporium (on Hwy 2920 in Spring, TX)
Public voting on all the entries is July 28-Aug 8. If you happen to live in Spring, I would love for you to hop into the store and take a look (and would love your vote as well! )

I am also entering this card in 2 online challenges:
Pileitonchallenge.blogspot.com : 3 different embellishments (in this case: ribbon, mini frame, and beads)

PaperTakeWeekly.blogspot.com: Favorite things (in this case~ my new favorite digital stamp)

The stamp is "Innocence 004" purchased here.
I have hand beaded the center of the flowers as well as the circles on the little girl's dress.
You can click each image for a larger view.

Easy Tealight Centerpieces

This is an easy and inexpensive idea for a:

* centerpiece (especially for a garden wedding or bridal shower)
*decoration for your home
*place setting (just tie a pretty little name tag on them)

Start with a few mason jars, some tealight candles, fresh flowers (I have used mini carnations) and some pretty ribbon

Cut the flowers at varying lengths and place them in the jars. Fill the jars with room temperature water. If you are using small carnations like I did, be sure and stick some of the flowers in upside down to add color to the bottom of the jar as well as the top. Also, my flowers floated, so if you have the same problem, you can fill the jar full of flowers so that they really don't have any room to float.
Screw on lids, add some pretty ribbon and top with a tealight candle. (Of course, be careful when your tealights are burning, since the flame will be near the ribbon.) So simple yet really pretty. You can adjust this to all seasons too.

Another card challenge for me. These things are becoming addictive! :)
The digital stamp is from a fantastic shop on Etsy: Digi Stamp Characters.
Don't you just love this little girl and her bird? I fell in love with her when I saw her online and snatched her up. Can't wait to make some more cards with her in the near future.

If you are interested in purchasing this card, you can grab it out of my shop.
